Makeup of the Day | #2
Hi everyone! Time for another Makeup of the Day post today, as I've been loving this makeup look since I started wearing my hair naturally again. Just a quick side note, this is how my hair is naturally, I left it to air dry, using a couple of products and this is what happened! It looks much shorter here but the longer layers were over my shoulder! If anyone would like a hair care kind of post, let me know. Ps, my top is from Zara and my necklace is H&M.
I started off with my favourite L'Oreal True Match foundation. If you've never tried this, you really are missing out because it's absolutely amazing! I then used my Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer under my eyes and the Maybelline Fit Me concealer on any blemishes and around my nose. I set this all with the Rimmel Match Perfection loose powder.
For eyes, I prepped with the MAC Bare Study Paint Pot all over the lids, then filled in my eyebrows with MAC 'Omega' eyeshadow, setting with the Maybelline Brow Drama Brow Gel. I then washed MAC's 'Woodwinked' eyeshadow all over the lid, adding more to the crease for a bit of definition. I used a tiny bit of MAC 'Embark' in the crease to darken it a bit more. I then lined my eyes with the L'Oreal Blackbuster eyeliner and used the L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara on my lashes.
I contoured and bronzed with the NARS 'Laguna' bronzer, and added some colour with NARS 'Orgasm' blush (both from the NARS 'One Night Stand' palette). I left highlighting my cheekbones as 'Orgasm' has quite a bit of gold shimmer in it anyway, but used TheBalm's Mary Lou-Manizer Highlighter in my tear duct and on my brow bone.
And finally, for lips I used my new favourite product: Revlon's Lacquer Balm in Vivacious. I've reviewed another shade in this range here if you want to find out more about them, but it's such a beautiful bright pink shade that I know I'll be getting a lot of use out of in the summer!
Your hair is gooorgeous x
