Milani Lipsticks | REVIEW
Another Milani post today, this time featuring their lipsticks. Having seen Carli Bybel talking about them a lot, I knew I had to pick up some when I was in America. I got the shades 'Flamingo Pose', 'Sweet Nectar' and 'Nude Creme'. Flamingo Pose is a gorgeous fuchsia pink colour, Sweet Nectar is a bright orange red and Nude Creme is a pinky nude. First of all: the formula is lovely, it glides on, leaving a finish similar to the 'Amplified' finish by MAC. I do find after a few hours it can feel a bit drying on the lips, but that's what you often get with long lasting lipsticks!
I think my favourite shade has to be 'Sweet Nectar'. It can be applied lightly for a soft orangey colour, or swiped on like in the swatch above for a more vibrant colour. I haven't worn Nude Creme that much but I think I will do more going towards A/W and I start wearing smokey eyes again. I think these are a lovely choice for a cheaper lipstick, if only they sold them in the UK! I would compare them to the quality of the Rimmel lipsticks, although I prefer the shade range at Milani. As soon as I got back, I saw Carli talking about another deep berry shade and I'm so gutted I didn't pick that one up - maybe next time!
I need to add these three to my collection!
