Boots/Superdrug Haul!
After watching multiple 2013 Favourites videos, I was determined to get a little Boots/Superdrug shopping time to try out some new products. I've been wanting to try these products for a while now so I'm excited to give them a go and (hopefully) get them reviewed!
Sleek 'Matte Me' Lip Creams in 'Fandango Purple' and 'Petal', £4.99 - Ever since I saw Amelia Liana compare these Sleek Lip Creams to the (much more expensive) Hourglass offering, I've been meaning to pick some up! They seemed to be pretty popular in my local Superdrug so I first picked up 'Petal', a nude pink which I think would look gorgeous with a smokey eye. I then got 'Fandango Purple', a shade I fell in love with at first swatch, and I can't wait to use it! I think it's a more pinky version of MAC's Rebel and I'm obsessed with these purpley shades this A/W.
L'Oreal True Match Foundation, £9.99 - Again, I picked this up on a recommendation from another of my YouTube favourites, Lauren Curtis. I picked up C2 - Rose Vanilla. I've been wearing it for the past couple of days and so far, so good!
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, £4.19 - I'm yet to try this bloggers favourite so I'm excited to see if it lives up to expectations! I'm hoping it's a good blemish concealer as my MAC Studio Finish can be a bit drying.
L'Oreal Skin Perfection Advanced Correcting Serum, currently £11.13 - I've never tried a serum and as my beloved Rosehip Oil has run out, I'm testing this serum from L'Oreal out. Nicole Guerriero raved about how it made such a difference to her skin so I'm hoping for good results!
Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder, £8.99 - I'm still on the search for the perfect powder, so I got this Healthy Balance powder from Bourjois. I got the shade 'Vanilla' which I think it a pretty good colour for me, although it's not extremely pigmented anyway. On first impressions, it feels really smooth and has been doing a good job of keeping my makeup on!
Hope everyone had a good Christmas/New Year and I'm hoping to be back into the blogging routine now. If you've tried any of these products let me know what you think! Any amazing drugstore finds you've discovered too - comment below!
