Boots Haul!
I do love a good Boots haul every once in a while and this weekend I finally got a chance to pick up some new releases and some raved-about products! I'm so excited to try all of this out so expect some reviews popping up on the blog too.
Dr Jart Water Fuse Beauty Balm, currently £12.00 - After hearing so many top bloggers going on about the Dr Jart BB Cream (Suzie from Hello October persuaded me!), I found this in Boots and thought I'd give it a go since my Maybelline BB Cream is running low. I've heard great things about this and on first impressions, it seems really nice and smooth with slightly more coverage than my Maybelline one.
L'Oreal Studio Matt & Messy Salt Spray, £3.69 - I've never really tried a salt spray and now we're well into summer, I thought I'd give this one a go. I has been mentioned by someone on YouTube (I can't remember who!) but I loved the packaging of this and for £3.69, it's not a total waste if it doesn't work out as planned!
Soap & Glory 'One Heck of a Blot' powder, £12.00 - Soap & Glory makeup is having a bit of a moment, and this is actually my first product from the S&G makeup range! Amelia from Liana Beauty and Lily Pebbles from What I Heart Today have both mentioned this recently and since I don't have any other powder apart from my Rimmel Stay Matte, I thought I would try this out.
Rimmel Salon Pro Nail Polish, £4.49 - This is a new release I've been desperate to try and I'm always on the hunt for a long lasting nail polish! This promises 10 days, but I'm definitely not expecting that - 5 days will do! I got the shade 'Cocktail Passion' which is such a nice, summery name to go with the bright neon pink shade.
John Frieda Frizz Ease Smoothing Creme, £5.89 - Unfortunately, as soon as the sun shows it's face, so does my frizz. I'm constantly trying to find things to keep frizz at bay and John Frieda's Frizz Ease range seems to do the job pretty well. I'm trying out this Smoothing Creme for when I blow dry my hair to (hopefully) keep my blow dry sleek for as long as possible.
Bourjois Color Boost in 'Peach on the Beach', £7.99 - This isn't on the Boots website yet, although the range is in plenty of Boots and Superdrug stores, and online at ASOS etc. They are Bourjois' answer to the Clinique Chubby Sticks and I'm intrigued to see how they match up. From the reviews I've read, I'm expecting great things! I chose 'Peach on the Beach' as Kate (Gh0stParties) was wearing it in her recent video and it looked gorgeous so I'm so excited to try it out for myself!
Have you tried out any of these products? Let me know what you think of them!
